. . . does anyone have more? Does someone get a prize if they are the original poster of the thread on which he makes his 10,000th post? Should we start an office pool on date and time when he'll hit the mile stone? Should we throw him into the swimming pool when he does?

P.S. Can you tell I'm procrastinating from work?

I noticed that yesterday.............about Dave not your procrastination. LOL

David M lives on HHI now, let's feed him to the alligator. I have never seem this man but he has saved my family about $5,000 on insights about t/s and the Marriott System.

Oh come on Pedro! Feed Dave to the alligators! Now why would you want to do that?

we should feed t/s weasels to the gators:)

Target date July 17-18

Dave should be at 10,000 on July 17-18 if he keeps his current pace.

Let the countdown begins.

Ahh, Thinze, you've either got too much time on your hands or you're also procrastinating some work you have to do, in order to figure that out! Which is it? ;-)

Thanks, but actually I am at Marriott's Legends Edge! I was just sitting around drinking coffee watching the boats head out for the morning fishing trips.

July 18 would be very appropriate since that's the day he retires!

VERY COOL!

I thought Dave had a lot of posts, until I logged on to TS4MS. There are people over there that you have to wonder whether they do anything else...there are several people that have over 15,000 posts!! I believe I saw one person had close to 25,000. Over a five year period that's roughly 15 posts per day on average.

Not to worry Dave, you're obviously going for quality, not quantity :D

These are the volunteers who donate their time and search RCI and II everyday, and post the findings accordingly. I have tremendous respects and admirations for these ladies.:D

BTW, Dave, congrats on the pending retirement! :)

GO GO GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You rock!
You are so helpful and wonderful. Let's party on his day!

I agree, I agree. Now how do we do that virtually? Everyone stock up on a bottle of champagne and on THE day we simultaneously pop the corks?

Okay, so I did some quick calculations. With his busy retirement parties, he'll probably be on TUG a little less, so I'm predicting Wednesday, July 23 will be the day.

Mark your calendars! (nothing like biasing the bet)!

Well....

As Pat said, I am retiring on July 18 (if I finish transitioning all of my responsibilities).

I am not retiring from TUG! :)

Although I moved all of my furniture into my new SC home this past weekend, I'll still be living and working in MA for almost another five weeks.

Please don't feed me to the alligators in SC. (There are a lot of them!)

I hope I'm not one of the t/s weasels referred to above! :(

Based on my posting patterns, I would guess #10,000 would come sometime between July 6 and July 18.

I'll skip the champagne, but I'll celebrate by posting again! :D

Hi Dave ... As you'll be just down the road from GO, what do you plan to do with it -- rent it, sell it, use it, trade it?

Congrats on two achievements -- 10 grand in posts and earned retirement. What will they ever do without you ... and sure glad TUG doesn't have to worry about that too.

Brian

Brian - I bet it will become a 'shore' or 'beach' house for Dave, the same way that those of us in South Jersey or Philadelphia own or rent a place at the Jersey shore, which is sometimes only 40-60 minutes away.

Dave's post are of quality, and at time very lengthy. 10,000 posts means ALOT of time spent typing, not to mention the time spent researching and ensuring accuracy of info.

THANKS DAVE !

You got it! I'm looking forward to enjoying GO more than ever. I'll get GO day passes and take a beach day at GO from time to time, in addition to staying there.

I have another (non-Marriott) HHI timeshare that I might sell. It seems superfluous now!

After re-reading my post, I can see where it might (unintentionally) be interpreted as derogatory. This was definitely NOT my intention. Not being a frequent poster, I was simply amazed at the number of posts.

My apologies if my comments were taken in a negative tone.

Wow that is fantastic!!! Just think of all the thousands of Tuggers you have helped with all those posts!!! Congratulations!!!
