Darn! I have to cut trip short!!!!

Ok, I have a great trade in Surfside Beach near Myrtle Beach for 2 weeks (July 13th week) at Plantation Villas...and I start a new job :whoopie: BUT I will not be able to go, but my DH will be there with my kids, but he can't go til Wed...then he comes back Sunday...driving alone...ugh. I had given it to my sister, but she changed her mind after I paid her guest cert (dumb me... I usually wait for $$ to change hands before doing this).

Oh well ... just needed to vent (but at least my family is still able to use some of the days).

I hear you! I hate even leaving one night unused!

One of the things I have discovered in my short time in timesharing is that when you invite someone to come with you on a trip, such as family, they can be so noncommittal in a way that they would never be with any other kind of invitation. I have exchanged when someone said they'd like to go only to have them say several weeks later that they can't! I guess they just don't get that it's not a hotel room that you can just cancel.

That's where I own. I hope you enjoy your days there. It's such a disappointment to cut it short.

I am actually just as sad about ME not being able to go, other than my DH and kids having to cut the trip short...from 8 days to barely 4...

Oh well.... At least I still get to go to Hawaii....
