When you win the bid, you tell them your exact dates and they will let you know if an airline will accommodate those dates. They may come back with a different itinerary in which case you can decline the offer if it is not acceptable to you.

Another catch is the fees, surcharges and taxes that they put in fine-print at the bottom of the listing, which can be substantially more than the bid-price itself. Whatever you bid, be sure to include those in your cost.

After you win, would you submit the travel dates online ? If the dates are not compatible does sky auction refund your purchase price ?

Sky Auction doesnt seem to have a phone number.

thanks

I have bought tickets there twice and got good deals even with the fees, and got tickets that earned miles (not all Sky Auction tickets do, you have to ask), and I submitted my dates over the internet. One was a long return where the airline would have really jacked up the fee, so it was a really good deal.

Yes, if the offer is not acceptable, you will get a refund.

I have booked a really luxury hotel in Spain via Skyauctions.

Submitting dates was online and the whole communication was throough an online form and then I just replied to the emails they sent me.

Communication has been really good and everything went very well with the hotel.

I can only recommend Skyauctions for hotels stays (that is the only thing I did through them)

Did anybody book this RCI timeshare getaway certificate? Does that make any sense compared to RCI and II getaways?
