Spring break destinations

Trying to decide on spring break destination for next year. Looking at Cape Cod or Poconos (the warm areas are too far away ). Has anyone done Cape Cod in March? Is it dead? freezing? Is anything open? Need some advice...TIA

Cape Cod in March

I've stayed at the Cape during April vacations (mid April) many times. The weather is usually pleasant enough to ride the Cape Cod bike trail, and there are plenty of restaurants open. March, however, would most likely be a little too cool, and probably not much open yet.

But you never know about the weather...I remember spending New Year's on the coast of Maine one year, and we all took off our coats while walking the beach because it was so warm!!

Atlantic City is nice, you can still go skiing/snowboarding in MA/VT/NY and the Poconos if you like. We are actually going to Smuggler's Notch for 4/4/09 (our Spring Break) as they have a great kids program and its the end of the ski season so they have great deals.
