Improve WIFI reception

My husband the "geek" is posting the following information for anyone who does extensive travelling and wants to access WIFI signals that may be marginal in signal from the room of even located at the resort next door or down the street for free.
The following 2 links will take you to a company that sells a unit from Alfa .
I (the geek), have purchased one of these units as well as a high gain antenna that plugs into the connector for even better increased signal strength. Results.... recently VDP PV, internet , expensive... used Alfa (500 MW USB Unit) and recieved free access from condo units 1/2 block away.
M o s t t i m e s this unit and higain antenna worked like a charm.
If you want more information u can email the "geek" directly at:

harv @shaw.ca

The following 2 links will take you in the right direction.
I take no responsibilty to the outcome of the purchasing of the unit or additonal antenna, we have NO connection with Data-Alliance, just have dealt with them on several occasions and have found them to be v e r y reliable. (also they are found on eBay).
