We're looking for a car rental for next summer in Grand Cayman. The rates are pretty high. Our credit card covers the insurance needed so we can avoid that.

We need at least an intermediate size (3 tall adults) and rather not pay $300.

We've done well with hotwire or priceline but when I enter GCM it doesn't continue with a search.

Any ideas?

Remember that $100 US is only worth ~$80 Cayman.

I'd try a meta-search engine, like www.kayak.com or www.sidestep.com.
If you have a AmEx card, sometimes they have discount codes that will help at:
http://www.americanexpressofferzone....try=us&lang=en

Also, double check with your CC issuer about coverage. Some do not provide that coverage in other countries.

Hotwire works in select international area's. You'll have to go to the site to see if they handle rental cars in Grand Cayman. We rented a hotel room from them in Barcelona, Spain a few years back. It saved us around $100 on that purchase.
