New Years Day

We are staying at a brand new hotel chain
just outside of Savannah called Cambria Suites

The exterior and interior of the hotel has a Contemporary Style
The lobby has a beautiful sitting area, a Barista Coffe Bar & two
Sony Vaio Computers with Flat screen monitors and a Dell printer

Our suite has two flat screen television with DVD & CD Player
and two plush queen size beds & a very contemporary bath!

The Holiday rate is just over $100 night but well worth it...

The front desk staff, is very professionally and made us feel
welcome..

The weather has been sunny all day but it is cool here in Savannah

Cambria Suites

The lobby is actually a huge great room with several styles of decor
There is a stone wall with a huge Christmas wreath with red ribbon.

Our Suite is located on the first floor
behind the front desk and down the hall

Great First Floor Location

There is a mini mart and a guest laundry
An indoor pool and state of the art fitness center
Complimentary USA Today and Wall Street Jounal

Our suite unit number 115

Two (2) queen mattresses (both very plush and comfortable)
plus a white down comforters and eight fluffy feather pillows

There is a microwave, mini refrig, 2 phones, desk
and a private sitting area with sleep sofa and TV

Wolfgang Puck Coffee is complimentary in room
and also 24/7 at Barista Coffe Bar in the lobby

Heard our first plane early this morning at 6 AM
You can look out the window and see the planes

Cambria Suites is located in Pooler Georgia just off I-95 &
Exit 104 near the Savannah Hilton Head Internation Airport

Little Lucky gives the Cambria Suites
a 9.75 and his paw print of approval!

We were recently in Travese City, Michigan and they were in the process of building a new Cambria Suites hotel there. Is Cambria part of a bigger or different hotel chain? It seems odd that, given the state of the economy, anyone would initiate a "new" hotel chain...

A Choice Hotels company. First Cambria opened in Boise afew years ago. Check on www.skyauction.com for deals Savannah location.
