Mrytle Beach in Oct.

Is it too cool to go into the ocean at Myrtle Beach first week of Oct.? what weather could we expect during this week?

It's going to vary by year, there are no guarantees!

I suggest you look up averages over time for the area and make a decision from there.

I have been to MB a few times in Oct, just this past year and almost always see people in the ocean. Usually there the first 2 weeks.

Have also seen temps above and below average. It has been for the most part a great time to go, I don't go in the ocean, but always a great time to be there and walk the beach.
