Has anyone heard of this outfit? They called wanting to know if we had a timeshare for sale, that Marriott properties were turning around very quickly. Joe originally wanted $699 up front as an advertising fee, then he was willing to 499 with the remainder at the sale. Then he would waive the remainder - now he is down to $399.

I saw the first line about never paying an upfront fee - has anyone had dealings with this outfit to confirm my gut feeling to avoid?
 
Go with your gut. Tell him you'll pay $1,000 from the proceeds after the sale but will pay absolutly nothing prior. That will cause him to hang up on you and you'll have saved yourself from being scammed.

Why would a magazine -- even a timeshare magazine -- be calling up offering to sell anybody's timeshare ?
