I received a call from HGVC and they are offering me South Beach 2 BR Gold 5,000 points + 10,000 bonus points for $ 13,490 + closing cost, that,s buying my South Beach 3,400 points.

Good Deal yes or no?

Just say, "No."

One of these days, they'll find a way around this by inserting a fine-print or fast-talk clause which says:
"Your use of the phrase 'not interested' or 'not at this time' or 'no', shall be construed to mean, 'yes, I want the most expensive unit for the least number of points available and you may charge any open CC account listed in my credit report'."

$13,400+ for 1600 points more? That' is 8.35 a point for gold points, in Florida! Way too much money, or something is wrong. Did that include the buyback price for the 3400 points you already own?

Bonus points are ok but you will save more overall with resale.
According to the latest Membership Guide, Bonus Points cannot be used to reserve accomodations during the Home Resort week or Club Reservation window. Bonus points cannot be transferred or assigned and cannot be borrowed or deposited into next year's account.
See page 143 of the Membership Guide for the rules regarding Bonus points - http://www.hiltongrandvacations.com/mg/

Gold points go for much less on the resale market. If you really want HGVC South Beach make an offer on the resale market

Run, run, run! You can buy a LOT more than 1600 points for a LOT less than $13,490. Those bonus points are not worth that much.

I paid $4000 for 4800 platinum points in Hawaii (bay club) that is $0.83 per point. You can do much better....
