Smile Petit Crest Villas at Big Canoe, GA

I have confirmed a week at Petit Crest Villas for September 2009. Has anyone stayed there recently and has there been any upgrades to the Units. Do all the Villas have two bedrooms and a loft. And, are the twin beds comfortable for adults. I love the mountains, small towns, day trips and sampling the local cuisine - looking forward to September, NANA

I stayed there 2 summers ago. It's a TS enclave in an otherwise residential community. All the units are the same. I can't say how comfortable the twin beds are since I never slept in them. The kitchens are fully equipped; unfortunately they no longer have the Jenn-Aires they once had (too much maintenance after people who didn't clean them). You have to leave the community to get groceries, but it's not too far. N.B. pool and exercise complex is not included, pay extra. I think you'll enjoy it if you want quiet natural places. -ken

Does Petit Crest Villas have outside grills. We will be there the week of Labor Day and hope to be able to fish the on-site lake during that time. The reviews indicate that the lake is stocked periodically. Did you do any fishing while you were there. -Nana

Nana3M, We're going in late Oct. I would be interested to hear what you found when you stayed if you'd like to share. Linda
