JetBlue is having an unbelievable sale today. I was able to book tickets fromNew York City to Oakland (non stop flight) for $79. ($89.60 total with all taxes and fees). The same price was available to return from Oakland to JFK.

I haven't seen fares this low since the late 1980's.

Many other citie pairs are on sale--some as low as $29. These are listed as avaialble at that price for today only.

Go get 'em!

Hopefully this is a sign of the future of airfares, at least during the economic slowdown.
