Best Credit Card to Pay Taxes

Can anyone recommend a credit card that provides points or miles that make it worthwhile to pay income taxes with the card. If I recall correctly, I think the fee for paying by credit card is about 2.5%. In the past, American Express offered double points in their membership rewards program. I did not think the points were worth the fee so I paid by check.

Are there any cards that provide regular or enhanced benefits that make paying the fee worthwhile?

Thanks.

Sam

If you can find a card that rewards more than the fee to pay by CC, then it would be a good idea. Unfortunately not many cards meet the criteria and it usually costs you more than it earns in rewards.

Sorry... not for income taxes.
OTOH, I've used one in Florida for residential property taxes (not incl. in MF's), since they're discounted if paid early and I would've otherwise waited a few months to cough up the cash.

We use a Costco AMEX card and get a cash rebate check every February.

3% rebates on gas. 3% on dining 2% on travel and 1% on everything else.

I may have the percentages between the dining & travel mixed up though...
