Double EQM for spring travel on most airlines

Most USA legacy airlines - Continental, American, United, and US Airways - are offered double Elite Qualifying Miles (EQM's) for spring travel. Registration on the websitie of the airline is required. Some include tickets already purchased.

The only holdout is - surprise! surprise! surprise! - Delta and its new captive NW.

United doesn't. The ticket has to be purchased on or after March 18. Registration required.

Delta's version

Just got an email from Delta that they are offering between 1, 2 and 3 times MQM miles for trips booked and flown between now and 15 June depending on the class of ticket. L,U,T (lowest cost) fares get only actual while J, C, D, S, I, F, A, Y, B, M (Highest cost) get triple MQM. H,Q,K get double. Same deal on Northwest but fare classes are different.

Cheers

Woo Hoo!

Now I can go ahead and book my trip to Hawaii and Frankfort Germany. I should have 65,000 status miles on NW by June 15th from 3 total trips this year(one earlier to France).
