In looking at shows we want see while in Vegas in Sept. The ticket prices online seem to be pretty expensive. Is there a place that we can get discounted tickets? We want to see "O" and Mystere and Phantom.

For the Cirque shows your best bet is to go to their website and sign up for the Cirque club (it's free). Just recently I got notification of special pricing on several of their Las Vegas shows.

Also, try EBAY - I purchase show tickets from there at significant discount.

Thank you both. I have never used Ebay to buy tickets will check it out. I went to the Cirque website and signed up for the free club membership.

Broadwaybox.com recently sent an email about 25% - 35% off of most of the Cirque shows. You might want to check out their website.

Sometimes GoldStar has tickets for Cirque, but it's rare. I checked, but the last time they had tickets was in April 2008. It's unlikely that they'll have them for September unless it's last minute, and if you're flying from somewhere, I'm sure you want to make sure you have tickets rather than hoping something will turn up last minute.

I did notice there are tickets available for some other shows like Blue Man Group and Le Reve. Again, it's only if you have a flexible schedule. I used to be able to drive to LV from LA, but I moved, so now I have to fly there. I'm definitely not flying to Vegas unless I've got tickets in my hand.

I forgot to mention to check Ticketmaster.com and TravelZoo.com. Both email you alerts to discounts when they come up. Cirque has quite a few discounts from TravelZoo, although it's not always timed right for your vacation.
