Continental direct flight to HI from Newark

I have a laptop which I would like to use on long flight.
My seat is 20 a & b.
Do I need empower or other adapter for laptop?

First find out what type of plane CO flies direct to HNL, then go on seatguru.com and they have by airline the type of plane and it gives you a description of the amenities.

If I remember correctly CO has plug ins for laptops etc in business class on their long haul planes. (We can get CO to HNL via Houston from Detroit).
