Affiliate Resorts trade for HHonors points?

Hi,

My understanding is that if you buy one of the Hilton Affiliate resort (e.g. in Marco island) and pay a HGVC fee (US$ 95 per year) you can "trade" your reservation at the affiliated resort for HGVC points.

Is it alos possible to exchange these HGVC points to HHonors points like owners at the "normal" HGVC resorts can do?

Is it the same for resale buyers at these affiliated resorts?

What fees are involved (Reservation, trade for HGVC, trade for HHonors...)

Yep, once you've joined HGVC and converted your affiliate week for a given year into HGVC points, then you can do anything with those points that any HGVC owner can do. E.g., HGVC reservations, RCI reservations, HHonors conversions, rescue points, etc. Note that HHonors conversions require you do it before the use year. Since the conversion of your affiliate week will probably occur just before your use year, you're best off doing it all at once.

HHonors conversion is $69. I think HGVC reservations are $69, but it may be cheaper on line (don't recall). RCI reservations have a fee similar to what RCI charges its own members. Rescue is $69. See your member guide for more details on these fees.
