Why is it that no one answers you when you go on rental wanted and you can get the week that they want for cheap and they never answer I've done it for 3 people and no answer why do they bother putting the ad in.
Where is it listed "rental wanted"? TUG Marketplace or under Last Minute?
Can't answer. Perhaps they already found something or changed their mind. I always respond to folks no matter what regarding just about anything, but then not everyone feels the need to do that. It is frustrating and it seems like a common courtesy.

Did you send a Private Message to the poster? That seems to work better than simply posting. I do agree, though, a simple response would be appropriate.
I have observed that when people respond to classifieds the message from TUG always ends up in my Spam folder. It could be the reason why people never respond. They probably never see the message.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. Mine do not end up in my Spam folder, and I never set it up to accept them either. Another lesson learned!
I've seen people post in the Rentals section to PM them instead of posting because they missed some opportunities. Let's hope folks see your post and set their mail preferences to accept these PMs.
I received a call from a potential renter of my unit that I advertised on Vacation Timeshare Rentals. When I asked how they got my number, she told me if she did not here from me within ONE day of sending me an email (through the VTR website), she could contact VTR and obtain other contact info for me (i.e. phone number). While that did not bother me per se, I was a bit bothered that VTR doesn't give a person at least 3-4 days to respond.
