Hello all.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience buying from eBay seller cybernaut34. I did a search on TUG, but no comments on this seller came up. They have a pretty good feeback record (99.6%), with 1866 comments posts. Would like to hear the good, the bad....and the ugly.

Thanks again!!

Vacation Inovations (VIN, Inc)

He's a seller for VIN, Inc. probably the top selling outfit on eBay. You should have no problems with them delviering what they advertised. If anything does come you'll find they will work to resove it to your satisfaction.

Agreed. I've purchased several units from VIN with no problems at all.

I too have had NO PROBLEMS with this group. The two times I had issues, both were resolved VERY quickly and more than satisfactory with credits, replacement TSs, and adjustments. Need I say more? Yes, I would buy from them again.

Likewise, numerous transactions, smooth sailing, any problems addressed to my satisfaction. I'd recommend them.

Marty

I've had good experience with VIN but didn't know that cybernaut was part of VIN. The ones I've dealt with are laman and namal who were with VIN.

And if you notice, "laman" and "namal" are the same word spelled backwards.

Have bought from VIN and was very satisfied. Would purchase from them again. I thought that they handled all the paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.

My seller was cybernaut.

I've bought several through VIN, including cybernaut

I would never hesitate to buy from these sellers. Fast, efficient, communicate well; and the one time that I bought a timeshare and there was a problem found 8 months later when I went to use it (not the unit number that was listed in the auction which was the only unit I wanted and the reason I bid), they took it back, refunded me in full and I was off the hook immediately. They sent paperwork to have redeeded out of my name, which I have read horror stories here that this is unusual and most times the timeshare stays in the buyer's name until it is resold by the postcard company. VIN provides paperwork with the initial closing documents that they provide 100% satisfaction, and they proved to me that they stand behind that guarantee.:whoopie:

I made one puchase from them and would highly reccomend.

I have noticed, but unless they're using fake names, one is Mike Adams and one is Mike Saylor. :D

They're probably legitimate. I just found it odd that some auctions were listed by "laman" and others were listed by "namal." Given the shenanigans some sellers play, it seemed kind of odd.

I found it odd, too. Not only is it the laman/namal, but it's 34namal/laman43. I actually checked my emails and documents from them to be sure.

Vin Inc

I have dealt with Mike Taylor and Mike Adams and have found them both great to deal with.

Timeshare resaler

I have purchased (7) timeshares from them (9) mths and would recommend them anytime,I purchased 1 other from one other who believe it or not is even better. this company is good I also had the same concerns at first.

My purchase is not complete yet, but so far so good. I've been dealing with Mike Saylor. He's been very responsive and cooperative.

Since I'm still waiting to hear from the resort to finish the close (in Mexico), it's good to hear such positive results from this company.

No problems - easy transaction.

Has anyone gotten an estoppel from this company? They said their privacy policy prevents them from sending me something like this, though they did give me the owner's name and account number. The resort management won't verify anything unless I'm the owner. I tried searching orange county deeds, which I found the owner's name, but it doesn't actually pull up the DEED, just shows there's one there (and I have no way of knowing if it's the one to the resort).

What has everyone else done with this company? Just pay, proceed, and cross your fingers?

I purchased twice from them and would recommend them. I actually look for their auctions since I know they are reputable.

I thought you could pull up something on the county's website that showed the pertinent info on the deed if you couldn't pull up a copy of the deed. I'd call the closing company and ask them for a copy of the estoppel. There's no reason they can't give it to you. I had a problem with a TS I bought from them where I didn't get use of this year's week and it was represented that I would get it. It clearly stated on the estoppel that the week had been used and first use would be 2010 but neither VIN nor the closing company read the estoppel. Also, the deed that the closing company filed indicated that it was an EOY week, not EY. The resort caught the error and it had to be refiled. I wasn't impressed with that closing company although they did get it done quickly - their accuracy was terrible. They refunded the M&T's that I paid but I think it's always good to review the estoppel and look up the deed and do a lien search on the recorder's website before completing the transaction. That said, I think VIN will take care of any errors.
