I got one of the bonus AC certificates during II's deal days. Does anyone know how much the fees are to use it? Does it vary by area or is it just by domestic/international? Thanks for any answers.

Sandy

It typically depends on the size of the unit confirmed. Usually $199 for a studio, $249 for a 1 bedroom and $299 for a two bedroom. The fees are listed on the certificate.

Thanks. I don't have a paper certificate, just online. I can't find the fee breakdown, so I appreciate the info.

The Certificate I have clearly says in print: APPLICABLE EXCHANGE FEE

Thus it would depend on the location (domestic or international), not on unit size.

The actual AC is usually emailed by II. On the first page it has the fee breakdown according to unit size and on the second page it has the grid of locations available using the AC.

Every AC I have ever received or read about on TUG has a redemption fee based on unit size. What you have may be something new.

As previously pointed out on TUG, all AC-s are not equal. One should examine all AC conditions in detail. This is not the first AC I had. My post pointed out that the type I have says "Applicable exchange fee." As to how and when II may have decided to change AC conditions, or to issue versions A, B, C, D etc. I have no information to share.

mayson -- I got one of those also (but now I can't remember if it came email, or if I printed it off from the II site, using the "Details" button). Check your email if you have it, and see if there's something you can download. Mine does have the $199/249/299 rates. Also, I've been able to use an AC for a unit that wasn't on the accompanying list -- just by treating it pretty much like an exchange and searching with it online. But since this one is more limited (the 59 days thing) than usual, who knows how it will actually work!
