Anyone Trade for Disney through RCI Using Wyndham Points Yet?

Wondering if anyone used a visible or invisible deposit to trade for Disney through RCI yet. My family and I are interested in going in 2010 or 2011 and I was wondering what point level deposit would be required to get 2 bedroom Disney week during the summer.

As of several months ago, you cannot do it with a generic. You'd need to get extraordinarily lucky with a visible. Your best bet is to go through Plus Partners' access to the Points-side inventory---you will only have access to Plus Partners if you have one (or more) developer purchases, or you have explicitly enrolled your resale-only account.

To echo bnoble, this is still the case. Generics will not pull a DVC (much less a 2 bedroom). Only PRIME visibles will pull DVC, and those are gone at the 10 month (less a few days) mark. If there were any left at the time that Wyndham bulk deposits, they wouldn't take those anyway.

I believe there was one case of a success on an on-going search fulfilled in the less than 30 days away (cancellation situation).

Plus Partners is a way to achieve it, and relatively cheaply I might add. I wouldn't hold up hope for a Weeks Deposit, visible or generic to pull one.

I just booked a Residences at the Crane via Wyndham Plus Partners option, for a 105K Wyndham points, since it is based on the standard exchange grid. It would have been 86.5K in RCI points if I would have booked it directly, so a great value via Plus Partners.
