Hi, we're new to TSs and got sucked into buying at Westin Princeville, but rescinded just in time. Short of it: we liked it, but given current economics and lots of articles I just read about Starwood's loss of profits last quarter of 2009, we just thought we'd hold out a bit longer.

We were offered 2B for 55K, one week annual floating with 120K Starpoints.

My question: any news on what to expect? downward trend for the price? better incentive pts package? HOW IS THAT PROPERTY SELLING?

What can we expect come spring 2010?

Mike

$55K for a WPORV 2Bd is crazy (regardless of the SO incentives) - be glad you rescinded in time.

Consider buying WKV (platinum) resale and exchanging into HI.

Rescind, Research, Resale...

as a point of reference - we bought a WPORV EOY from SVO (yes - crazy...) for $24.3K - got around 225K SPs by using our AMEX and a 'same-day' Explorer package, requaled a resale worth 148.1K SOs, and attained 3* Elite status.

good luck.
