The new web search site by Microsoft is starting to grow on me... :)

www.bing.com

At the bottom right, you can click on the reverse button to see previous pictures.

Anyone else using it?

tug certainly gets no love in the timeshare related keywords on bing thats for sure.

If you type in 'timeshare', TUG Classified does show up on the right side as a sponsored ad. You may have to refresh once or twice to see it.

Is that what you're referring to?

I am finding that I get more relevant responses from a Bing query then I do from the same google query. Naturally, I have been testing the same queries on both.

That being said, a recent newsweek article is touting twitter as the search engine of the future. The gist of the article is that people's 140 character tweets contain links to in depth articles. With the appropriate app you can search the tweets and come up with more relevant articles on the question that interests you as well as "live" real-time in depth discussions. For example, an educators conference ended up with many tweets during the conference. If you were interested in the topic you could search twitter and come up with an actual conference in progress and get real information that you could not get on google or any other search engine. Google and other search engine do not provide real-time live information. Twitter is capable of doing just that.

those are paid for ads though, we dont show up anywhere near the top of useful keywords like timeshare help and timeshare advice etc on bing like we do on google.

instead you see all the upfront fee companies.

Is anyone seriously thinking about dumping Google for Bing?

I did a quick look based on this thread. I'm not seeing anything worthy of switching search engines.

I personally use all three of them... IMO, Bing does have a decent travel search that appears to be better than the others (Google, Yahoo).

Looks to me like Bing is the old Windows Live search site with a new name. I never did like that site. I think Google rocks and this site is going to have to offer a whole lot more if it wants to compete with Google's smart search engine.

And you are right, I put in "timeshare" and got every single PCC and sales company outthere. Nowhere did I see TUG, not even on the sponsored section.
