We just confirmed a week at Aruba Surf Club. So excited!

Wondering if there were any recommendations for good morning yoga classes nearby? Kayak and SUP rentals? We will be renting a car to explore at least a couple days, too, but we’re wondering about what is within walking distance.

There is yoga in the Surf club gym. First day we walked in but instructor wanted us to sign up by website for next class. It is free. Plenty of restaurants nearby and casino’s.
With your car you can go snorkeling. We saw sea turtles at tres trapi and boca Catilina beaches. They are there early morning. Baby beach is also great for snorkeling. Aruba is very relaxing. You will love it.

We just got back from Ocean Club next door. There are yoga classes offered by the different resorts and there seemed to be a public one up the beach a little towards town. Activities you can walk to are the Dutch Windmill and the Butterfly Farm, both less than a mile away. There are kayak rentals right on the beach there, I think, as well. Aruba is great!

Thanks all! I'm taking notes. Sounds like there are some good yoga choices -- love it.

On another note - how consistent have the Surf Club and/or Ocean Club been at honoring the view codes for your unit for Interval exchanges lately? We have an "Oceanside" view code and are hoping that's what we get when we check in.

We had an Oceanview unit at Ocean Club, and were put on the first floor pretty far back. If your stuck your neck out from the balcony you could just see a sliver of ocean. I was going to go back and try to talk my way into something higher up, but it's like a 1-minute walk to the beach so who cares? And the first floor is super convenient anyway.

I will be going to Aruba in August. Any good early bird specials in Palm Beach area within walking distance of Marriott Ocean Club? I believe the Ruth Chris has one, but I have no details on it. Thanks for your suggestions.
