Any recommendation on building(s) and location(s) for a unit request for Aurba Surf Club. We have a one bedroom unit exhange for Labor Day week of this year. Also, how do you make your request? We own two weeks at Marriott Monarch, will that help any?

Have you checked your reservation number online to see what view you were assigned? If you check your room assignment I can be more specific.

The Lighthouse building is the front building and has OF and OS rooms. It is the closest to the beach. The Compass building is the building behind it with the lobby and has OV rooms primarily and GV on the lower 3 floors of rooms. The Spyglass building is the newest one and is an L shaped building, with OV for the part parallel to the beach and GV for the others.

If you want to be closest to the beach then I would request the Lighthouse building. If you have little ones and prefer to sit by the pool, there are some very nice sand/poolside sitting areas in front of the Spyglass building which you might really like.

As a trader, since you are likely not to get a higher floor, I would request poolside. That way, even if you don't have a great ocean view you won't have a building view of the Ocean Club impeding what view you do have and you will get to look over the pool and gardens.


It is a great resort- have a great time! Don't forget to bring tubes for the Lazy River.

Then on the confirmation certificate they have a reservation number, but looked at the Marriott Vacation Club site and couldn't see a place to use it. Our trade wasn't our home resorts weeks, but another timeshare we own.
