Hi, we are going there this weekend. I was wondering if we should ask for any particular rooms or rooms to avoid? Thanks.

People that like it quiet will want something in the north tower area....that way you aren't directly over the pool party that goes on all summer at the Flamingo Hotel. It doesn't bother us, but I know others have been bothered by the loud party noise.

The timeshare part is not by the party area. All the areas are nice and quiet. We owned there for many many years and went every year.

The timeshare is much closer to the party than the hotel is.

I have heard it many times from my room, however.. I don't think it's runs very late anymore.

We'll let you know this weekend

We were there last week staying in the main building on the 9th floor overlooking the HGVC pool. The room was quiet the entire time. The flamingo pool parties and music were never a problem. On Thursday, the weekend crowd showed up and the decibel and crowd levels increased. But even with the crowds, our 2 bdrm unit was quiet. The HGVC Flamingo was great and we had no noise complaints. Enjoy!
