Marriott rewards Hawaii

Just got a postcard from Marriott rewards offering great promotion for Marriott Wailea beach resort Maui. "Redem 4 nights Marriott rewards points get 3 nights free plus $100 resort credit" .

Wish I could go but we are all booked for vacations for the rest of this year and it is only valid for stays through 12/31/12.

Hope someone sees this and gets this great deal.

We went ahead and reserved a week. Just a question about the resort fee, is this typical of Hawaii? Still a great deal though.

Yes. In fact, they're typical of all resort areas.

The 4 days redemption is the same as 5 day redemption. Can you have the special with the 5 day redemption?

I doubt it, the offer is redeem four nights with points and get three free. Technically one of those nights is already free, so you are only getting two extra nights free. The one free night is built in to the pricing on the offer. Just selling it this way to make it sound better.
