WLR Oceanside building/floor preference

I got lucky and managed to snag a 2brd oceanside unit at WLR for the last week of March with SO's. I know the oceanside units are the endcaps on buildings 1, 9, and 14. Between those any preference on building or floor? Are higher floors better in the oceanside units as they are with oceanview? Have been to WLR but never stayed in an oceanside unit. Traveling with wife and 3 kids. Thanks!

First floor Oceanside is pretty good too.

Unless you want to be close to the smaller pool, I would ask to avoid building 14. Too far to walk to everything except the smaller pool. That said, it is close to the smaller gym as well as the spa.

Thanks @echino. I wasn't sure if these units were obstructed by palm trees on the lower floors - if not seems lower might actually be better as you get the feeling of being right on top of the beach. Think I'll request building 9, lower floor; followed by building 1. Will try to avoid building 14 as @dioxide45 notes - also would rather overlook WLR than the Live Aqua (I believe that is next door). We are a tues-tues reservation (rather than the typical sat or sun checkin) so having a feeling it will just depend on what oceanside room is checking out that day, rather than my request, but

There aren't really enough palm trees in front of those endcaps to make that much of a difference.

I prefer building 9, the higher the better.

Building 1 is a decent walk to the main pool area but you can sit on the side with the restaurant. We just like the main section. 14 is so far away from everything!
