I was recently at grand desert, then went to an owners update. They said I had an impressive history with Wyndham, but that I had a purchase recession in 2017. That was the last purchase we made, we paid it off, the 105 K points show up in our account, and we have used them. we saw it in our printout, and it still showed all points we had. No one could explain why the rescission showed up. Should I pursue it with Finance or member support?

I would not bother. Give the sales weasels something to wonder about.

The paperwork the sales office had will show the contract that you supposedly rescinded.
Do you know if the rescinded contract number [not actually rescinded] is the same contract number that you bought and paid for ?
If the answer is yes it’s the same contract number. I would try to get the matter resolved before you check someday and the contract is gone from your ownership

If the supposedly rescinded contract number isn’t the same as the contract number you bought. I would ignore it

The next time you are in an update and they bring up that your contract was rescinded, you should tell them that they still owe you the $20k from the purchase and that you’ll gladly give them the 105k points back. Unless, of course, that was the last 105k to get you to Gold or Platinum.
