Hello everyone! I am glad to join this site and wanted to ask some questions if that is ok. I have spent weeks researching how point work with Wyndham and here is what I am thinking. I welcome ( constructive ) feedback.
I am new to the timeshare thing, but I started to go down the Wyndham route for the use case of why I think I want a timeshare.
I am in the process of buying 308K of Wyndham points at Bonnet Creek thru resale.
I physically live in England but I am a US Citizen. There is 6 of us total in the house ( 2 adults, 4 Kids , 18, 16, 10, 6 )
I am thinking about buying another set of points 600K club Wyndham points also resale ( or whatever the points are called for home status in many locations) for a total of 900K
We want to have enough points to be able to stay somewhere like Bonnet Creek and get one of the largest rooms like the 4 bedroom presidential for a week for all of family to come join us when we are in the US visiting.
for times we don't come to the US, we want to be able to deposit the points into RCI and stay in other locations in Europe.
The reason I want to get into the wyndham point systems is to force myself to take vacations with the family and not be pinned down to just any one location and pay throughout the year to have lodging taken care of so all I need to worry about is getting to the location and food.
Just curious what you think of this thought pattern and if there is better ways, or if this way doesn't seem to bad ?
Thank you for your time of reading this and any replies that come my way
