How do I rent some one-time RCI points from another owner?

I need some one-time extra RCI points. I understand I can transfer them in, but don't know anyone who is able to transfer.

Is there a place to post that, or does someone have the info?

If you are talking about Club Wyndham points on deposit with RCI, then all you need is for a fellow Club Wyndham owner with extra points on deposit with RCI to call Wyndham-RCI and have them transfer the points to your Wyndham-RCI account. It is pretty simple.

I keep saying Wyndham-RCI since regular RCI points or TPUs are not compatible with Wyndham points on deposit with RCI.

I think I got the proper RCI phone number from my RCI account that is accessed via the Club Wyndham portal.

Keep in mind that RCI forbids any compensation be provided to the owner transferring their points to you.

If you only need a few points, they may not be willing to complete the transaction. RCI charges a $98 fee for points transfers. I believe there is a one-time freebie transfer per year.

Buying additional points through RCI is also an option. However, their points are $.03 per point.

How can you buy additional points through RCI? I'm a Platinum member through Welk, we have our own site. Meaning at the top left of the RCI page it has the Welk logo next to RCI.

I don't have that option. The button to reserve is gray, un-clickable, and reads "more points required"......

Welk points like Wyndham points aren't RCI points. They have their own portal with exchange grids. Even when deposited in RCI they still don't become rci points, they are still Welk points that have been deposited into RCI. RCI can't sell you more or those points. Does Welk have a provision to rent OR borrow additional points needed for a reservations?

I've never heard trading be advertised, which is something I would think they would promote as a perk when buying. But we do have no fees for letting friends use our points within Welk

According to a Welk customer service rep, Welk Owners can trade with each other but not through RCI.
