Alpenglow. So beautiful. I wish I was somewhere in VT or NH this weekend. But inventory at Target is next Thursday. So home I am. Sigh.

Here is today's favorite. My wife celebrating the end of a long climb.

And with all the talk of the colors in the clouds I took this one while grilling dinner last night. The picture is far from doing it justice

My last one form this trip as we head home tomorrow. This has been one of the prettiest weeks we have had. I love the birch trees in this one. That is my bike parked for the photo shoot.

Ok. You are making me homesick for my future home now. Being in limbo right now I am so sad I am not living up there yet.

I love the birch trees as well. My favorite tree!

Left Minnesota Thursday on my Indian for Florida

Was ran off the highway by another car in Iowa, the bike and I hit the ditch then slid across the freeway
Bike was rideable but still did a number on it.
Cop didn’t know how I wasn’t killed

I’ve been riding since I was a small child and always said if I ever went down on the highway that I was done

So. Might be selling the bikes and taking up gardening

Off hand, does anyone know what an overnight room costs at the Mt. Washington Hotel?

.

It depends on what room and what day and time of year but they start at about $200.

Nice ride. I try to stay off the freeways but I like the gravel roads and back roads. I keep thinking I'm going to sell my bike but then I go for a ride and everything changes. I started wearing a high vis yellow vest and I think it made a difference in people seeing me.

Went to Disney this weekend and ended up at Mecum auto auction just to “ look “

Ended up with this, I know it’s not a beach sunset but sorta the same

DRI: The Point at Poipu, 3 deeded weeks, 1 of which is in The Club.
Yesterday I took some pictures around the grounds of The Point at Poipu.

I will revive this one to compliment the fall picture thread. It does not have to be a picture taken today. Recently is ok. What I do not want is the three year old picture that has been photoshopped to perfection. A candid photo that appeals to you for some reason. The reason is to improve my photography seeing what appeals to others.

My wife was so mad she cut off my head. I love this picture because it takes the focus to the bike and off the rider. This picture invokes motion and draws me to the trail which is fairly steep. The biker in me notices the hand ready to hit the rear brake and the other hand in no position to hit that front one.
