Sorry if this has been covered before, but Starwood is offering all inclusive deals in Mexico. Do you think that there will be some sort of supplement so that owners can take advantage of this when visiting?

Can you please post a link to the AI info.?

At the Mexican resorts, all-inclusive fees are usually added on and paid directly to the resort - not included in MF's. Is that that you are asking?

Sure...here it is: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/mexicoallinclusive

Yeah, I was wondering if when booking a stay we would just be able to add a little bit per person to go all-inclusive. Lots of the resorts in Cancun are already all inclusive and this would be a good sign that Starwood is trying to compete.

I'm not expert, but usually if you buy the AI, you have to buy it for everyone in your party for the whole stay. Sometimes owners get a discount, but at the other Mexican resorts the AI is quite high - in my opinion.

I checked the rental rates and it didn't seem bad at all. I checked a random week in May and it was $166 per night for a studio, all inclusive. With rates like that, why buy there or even exchange in?

I drink more than $166 per day at the swim up bar. Who needs food!
:whoopie:

I couldn't find a date that worked like Denise did, but I really would get tired of the food there. I understand that they are competing with the AI locations elsewhere in the hotel zone, so it makes sense to offer it. I prefer the fun of taking the bus to Soriana or WalMart to get my own food and eating out in new and interesting places.

But I will have a couple of drinks at the swim up bar!

Anyone going 27 March - 3 April? Spring Break can't get here soon enough!

Must of been a very limited offer at WLR. I checked several weeks from now through June and couldn't find any availability.

I agree with clsmit. There are many restaurants with exceptional dining choices in Cancun. We're going 3/19-3/26. Can't wait!
