I'm an owner at KoOlina and I don't believe there is a classification for "partial ocean view"? I only recall ocean and garden?

We were there last week as a Marriott owner at a different resort and went through interval. We got a marina view on the 8th floor over the valet parking lot. We did have a partial ocean view to our right......We were in the newest building on site. No way would they give an ocean view villa, one facing the pools and ocean. They stated once you go through interval, you don't get ocean view villa. At least that's what they said to us and were firm.
We met two owners of Ko lina who had the same view as us but they went through interval also because they had deposited their week into I.I.

They also give you wrist bands of different colors designating owners vs. exchangers. Not sure I appreciated that. The owners we met going through interval definitely did not appreciate the discrimination. We agreed. Why?

You will love Ko Olina. The pools, the ocean, the landscaping is wonderful.
Food is expensive but across the street are mini malls whcih have great deli's and very good food.

Nice Place, a bit remote from the "Action"

We stayed their once and liked it.

It is pretty far off the beaten path. To get to Honolulu or the
more touristy spots will require a fairly long drive.

If you are there to relax, it is a great spot...

If you want to get out and tour/shop/see the sights/see the
locals, I think you should look elsewhere.
