I just found a groupon for the Cirque Polynesia show in Lahaina. Pretty good deal: $19 for kids VIP seating, $37 for adults.

The only TUG reviews I can find are from 2009 when it first started. Anyone seen it since?? I know it's not true Cirque d'Soleil, but at this price, is it worth seeing? I have visited TripAdvisor, but trust my fellow Tuggers more ;)

And, yes, I understand it's not Hawaiians for the most part, so I'm not looking for whether it's Hawaiian/cultural or not. (we visit HI often, so that's not as important for this event)

Thanks!

If anyone else wants tickets - go to Groupon Hawaii

It is worth the discounted price.

Hello,

Although not worth the retail cost, you have a good discount!
I think it worth the investment.
A little corny and overly dramatic, but the story of the founding
of the Islands is interesting.

Thanks, everyone...

I'm thinking my 11, 13 year old girls will like it - I've never taken them to any real Cirque events (would like to, just haven't ever gotten around to buying tickets for the traveling show...) so I think the dance/aerial acts will entertain them.
Heck, they loved the magician show at Silverwood Amusement Park in Idaho - and it was pretty corny. :)
