Someone (who is clueless on Hawaii maintenance fees at decent resorts), posted this on redweek (redwish):

"Do you own in Hawaii? Looking for 2012 inventory. All islands... all unit sizes. I need more than 50 weeks from week 1 through week 12 for an individual incentive program. Especially interested if you have access to or control of multiple weeks on different dates. Will pay $600 for a studio, $750 for a 1-bdrm and $900 for a 2-bedroom. No junk properties, please. If you need more than that for your unit, don't bother to reply. Prompt payment in advance, but you must be able to show proof of reservation and be willing to issue name-change on your reservation when we request it. This is NOT a re-sale come-on. We booked more than 200 clients last winter and we're short of inventory!"

Again, I am just posting this here to generate some discussion, I am not interested in brokering any deals.

Preston just called me tonight on a GO listing I had sent him. I've done business with him before. As long as you're in the driver's seat with him he can be useful.

I find him to be very pushy. If I don't respond instantly, I get a response from him saying I lost a rental because I was too slow. I usually just send him an email saying I require full payment upfront and he goes away.
