We are going to Bluegreen's Club La Pension from Dec 14-21. We are not planning to rent a car as the parking is very high. We have never been to New Orleans.
Any suggestions for how to best get to/from our timeshare?

Secondary, will there be nearby groceries?

Thanks,
Sherry

We stayed at Club La Pension this October and really enjoyed it. Nice units and great location. There really is no need for a car as you can walk to just about anywhere in the French Quarter. Walgreens is just a very short walk for some basic snack food. A bigger food store is Rouses which is about a 15 minute walk within the Quarter. We did no cooking so I am not sure if there are other closer grocery stores.

We took a taxi from the airport to the resort. There was no hassle, and as far as I recall, the cost was about $40 including tip.

Have a great vacation.
Tom
