We are currently booked at Terra Lodge and Jackson Lake Lodge. We are driving up from Park City with an overnight at Grand Tetons. After a day in the Grand Tetons, we are driving up to Yellowstone and staying at Old Faithful Inn. I am going to cancel one of the hotels at the Grand Tetons. Which hotel do you recommend keeping?

Don't know anything about Terra Lodge but Jackson Lake Lodge is supposed to have a magnificent view of the Grand Tetons in the Mural Dining Room and the lobby. We we went to the Grand Tetons we just missed its yearly opening date as we wanted to have lunch there one day.

Keep the Jackson Lake Lodge reservation, definitely. The rooms are basic, but the views from the hotel and the surrounding grounds are some of the best in the world.

Bring some binoculars, and just before sunset, scan the willow flats to the west and southwest to watch the moose feed.

We LOVED Jackson Lake lodge. The views are incredible...and we did see a moose from the patio in our room!

The Jackson Lake Lodge is a wonderful facility. We stayed there in a Mountain View Cottage (upper floor) where the view from the balcony was magnificent. Some of the other cabins don't have quite the view, but it is a matter of just walking outside to get a glimpse of the Lake and the mountains. One of our best vacations ever. The Old Faithful Inn is wonderful as well. Have a great vacation.
