What is the best choice of villa's to stay in for two older couples traveling without children. We would probably like a quieter area for our unit but we love pools, a fitness center and activities during the day. Our stay will be in mid summer when school is out so that is why I need some advice so I can make a good choice. Thanks for any help.

Either North or East Villas. Don't worry about distance from the facilities, they have a shuttle that goes all over the resort.

North village is the most quiet IMO. Only one small pool at the founders club.

East village is pretty quiet and peaceful too and the one we prefer. Has two small pools that weren't that crowded last time were there.

Both the large pool in the West village and the River Island complex require the shuttle or a car.

I have to say that I disagree with the recommendations and I would recommend that you look into the West Village. If you prefer quieter than you should know that the West Village is made up almost completely of single story buildings in a triplex or quad plex arrangement so you have no one above you ever and if you are lucky enough to get an end unit then you only have one party wall. This is in contrast to the large apartment building style accommodations elsewhere. Also, there are great pools at the West Village Club House and, at least the last time we were there, one of them is an adults-only pool so you can continue your goal of having a quiet and relaxing experience even while you are at the pool.

I agree with the JeffCarp. The smaller pool at West Village seems to be a popular place for `seniors` too. Quieter area. Plus there is Bingo at the West Village! The busiest pool is definitely River Island.
