HICV Point value

Can anyone tell me what the point value is of Week 27, 2 bedroom, West Village in the HICV system? What I can see it is 159000. But what I am being told is 174000. Usually they say Week 26 is considered a more valuable holiday week. Have they changed it to Week 26 & 27 in the HICV system recently? Is it every year you would get the extra points in week 27? I am just a little bit leery of the information I was told by a salesrep.

So is week 27 ever worth 174000/175000 points? Or is always week 26?

Unless someone happens to own that week and converted it to points, I don't think we can answer that question. Other HICV can only answer what it would cost to book in points.
If it makes a difference to you in your decision to purchase retail points to convert your week make sure you get the answer in writing as a part of your contract. The members guide only indicates weeks 26, 51 and 52 as diamond weeks so my guess would be that you would only get more points (if even then) when the 4th happens to fall during week 27.

I am a points owner, to reserve this week 26 starting Friday June 24 2016 will take 175,000 points, you will receive 175,000 points if you buy into the points. ( wk 26 ALWAYS 175,000) must go by Orange lakes (HIVC) calendar Only

Week 27 starting Friday July 1 2016 is 159,000 points. (wk 27 ALWAYS ) True week 27 in West village will only get 159,000 points a year if you are a points owner.

We have a 53 week calendar this year in 2016 throwing everything off. Every 4 years this happens.

As you know the west village is a little cheaper than the others when it comes to points.

If your a points owner , this is in our owners guide. Christmas / New years will be a real treat.

Sounds like Week 27 is more valuable thru RCI weeks. On July 8, 2017 week 27 -you get quite a few extra points-(34tpu) for some reason. The 2016 is regular value (27 tpu). Thanks you for all the replies and helpful advice.
