Using Marriott Vacation Club page to reserve week for 2018

I have never used the MVC webpage to make reservations. I have always called because my computer is slow. This year, my daughter and her husband will be making the reservations (she is on the deed). I want to go over the steps to be sure they will be ready at 9 a.m.

How much do you fill in before 9 o'clock? Do you fill in everything except clicking the day you want to reserve. At exactly 9 do you click the date and then click #4 confirmation?

I don't want them to be too early and then have computer throw out the information, and I don't want them too late to get the week they want.

Thanks so much in advance for your help in how to reserve using the MVC page. Should the other person be on a phone at the same time? This is for Timber Lodge, a week we bought this year.

You can go into the web site early and get all the way to where you select your travel day. Then in the verbiage above the calendar display is the word update, I believe it is highlighted. You can hit that and it will update availability immediately.

This. You'll see Marriott's own timestamp every time you refresh, as well, so you'll know when to hit F5 again. Works like a charm for me.
