I'm trying to get a room in Cabo for a friend and this property has popped up -- is this a Mandatory All Inclusive, or just an Optional?

It is moderately reviewed, but may meet their needs -- does anyone know the answer on the AI? (and how is this property?)

Thanks!

Greg

I was there in January, not all inclusive but very isolated so no rest. close by. Very nice room, beautiful view, no beach. Contact resort for airport transportation as airport is a long way away and cab is $80.00 if I remember correctly. Adult pool fills up fast with gorgeous view but several other pools. There are two different one bed rooms, one is what you would expect, but one is more like a studio.

We stayed there a couple of years ago, and AI was optional. We were there in 2016 and the AI cost was $142/pp per day, but we were offered $100 pp per day via email a few weeks before arrival. I saw a lot of people using it and they seemed happy with it. The room was honestly the cleanest I have ever stayed in, anywhere. Our room did not have much of a view, and there are definitely some with *no* view, so I would set that expectation bar low. I agree that it is not close to anything and that is the main reason that we probably won't go back. They offered a shuttle ride in to town (free for AI, maybe ~$5 or $10 pp each way). Being out there so far without a car definitely added a lot of cost to our week. We were there in late April/early May and it wasn't crowded and we could always get chaises by the adult pool overlooking the ocean. The pool was the part of the property that we enjoyed the most.

Personally we like being a little closer to town just to have some options. We felt a bit stuck at HE. That said, we met a fun crowd of people there that we keep in touch with on FB.
