Hi all,

Shedding some of my weeks as my vacationing is changing up a bit and need a little more flexibility.

I've used this to extensively trade into WKORV/WKOVRN for the last 5 years with great success using both instant trade and ongoing searches.

Sheraton Broadway Plantation
Gold (Week 45)
2 Bedroom
Annual
Usage starting in 2018

MF for 2018 is $962.44

Since this was gifted to me by a fellow tugger, I'm doing the same.
All you need to pay is the transfer fee with transfer company of your choosing and resort transfer fee.

I've given away other units in the past on TUG, so if you would like a reference, just let me know and I'm happy to give you one.

Any questions or offers, shoot me a PM.

Thanks.
Nico

Bump. Christmas special. I’ll pay closing costs. You just have to pay the 2018 MF fees. Usage starts 2018

Does this include RCI or II membership? Also, are WKORV/WKOVRN in Hawaii?

Thanks!

You have to pay for your membership to II separately. Yes. WKORV and WKORVN is Maui. I've now also recently used this property to trade into Westin Nanea (also in Maui).

Hi Liz,

Depositing works by designating your unit for deposit in Interval International after you've paid the yearly dues. Once designated, for a trade fee ($139/$179 depending on whether it is Starwood or not) you can trade into any resort available within II. As a 2 bedroom, you're eligible to trade for a 2 bedroom (or smaller).

Hi Liz,

Just to give you a little info about the kind of trades you can get with this unit, here’s what I’ve been able to obtain with my 1 bedroom Gold plus unit.

2013: 2 consec Nov weeks, Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort North in Maui, 2BR
2015: summer week, Marriott Desert Springs villas in Palm Springs, 2BR
2016: Feb week, Westin Mission Hills Resort, Palm Springs, 1BR
2016: March week, Napa Riverpoint, Napa CA 1BR
2017: Feb week, Hyatt Highlands Inn, Carmel, CA, 1BR
2017: Labor Day week, Welk Northstar Resort, Lake Tahoe, 2BR
2018: July week, Marriott Mountainside, Park City, 2BR
2019: Labor Day week, Embarc Whistler, British Columbia, 2BR

The reality is that the sky in NOT the limit with this timeshare ownership. But if you learn what you’re doing, you can get some very nice exchanges with this.

I also got mine free from a TUGger.

Disclaimer: I think my unit is a better season (Gold plus) than the one listed in this ad. So it might get me a little better trades. But I’m not sure the difference is that great. The biggest difference is that I pay $100 to upgrade to a 2BR unit whereas you would not have to pay that, since you’re already starting with a 2BR unit.

I'll share the exchanges I've done with this unit. Note that my primary purpose has been for visiting Maui consecutive weeks each year. I use a total of 3 different Sheraton properties to get upwards of 4 weeks a year in Maui. I just don't have the same amount of time to spend there each year anymore, hence shedding this week. Specifically with this unit I've had the below exchanges. All of these were for OGS and matched usually in under 30 days.

2012: Sept, Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort North in Maui, 2 BR
2013: Sept, Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort in Maui, 2 BR
2014: Rented the week @ SBP (to Tugger I think)
2015: Aug, Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort in Maui, 2 BR
2016: Oct, Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort North in Maui, 2 BR
2017: April (Spring Break), Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort North in Maui, 2 BR
2018: Haven't put in a search because I'm trying to give away the unit. :)

Impressive exchanges! But I wonder what the exchanges would look like going forward.

If you’re flexible and using OGS, I think it’s fine IMO. I have a Gold 2bd SDO that I have the same level of success with exchanges. I’ve split it in 2018 and got two weeks @ WKORVN in 2bd ($99 upgrade since I split it into 1bd)

But like anything, past success doesn’t guarantee future success.

Since this is not a lock off I can't split it into 2 weeks, right?
