I was someone can help me with a tech question on why this is happening as it is freaking me out :

I was typing a text message on my phone which I didn't end up sending on my Iphone 7P while I was at home. At work, I was working on the computer and pasted in Firefox to search for something - the exact text I typed on my phone appears. This is not the first time either. Sometimes websites I am surfing on my phone appears on my work computers (PC - Windows 7) which I don't understand how that is happening. The only connection I can possibly make is that I log into my hotmail account from my work computer at my two offices. That is the only common thread I can make between my phone and my work computer. I don't have any sync'ing set up so not sure what it happening. Just has me worried that someone may see my text messages or what I have been searching for beyond my normal browser history. While its nothing really important, sometimes text messages might have confidential information. I just don't know how it is happening on both work computers I use. Is there something with hotmail that is linking it to my phone since I am accessing my hotmail messages on my phone ?????

I'm hoping someone will have an idea how this happening ????

What keyboards, email and search programs do you have installed on your iphone?

google?
bing?
outlook?

Could be google, bing, keyboard... sounds like predictive typing to me.

I'm just using my Safari browser on my phone but on my PCs at work, its Firefox. I just don't know how a text message that I deleted before sending ended up being in my paste function at work. That is just nuts. I don't think I have any special keyboards on my phone except bitemoji but that was way after I started having these issues.

Not sure this is the reason but Microsoft Cloud Clipboard recently had a new release. I never used it but read that information can be copied between devices. Might be worth looking into to see if you are set up for it and you don’t even know you are. Maybe another tugger has experience with it.

That sees what texts I am typing too ? If that's the case, I need a privacy setting like when you surf. Its amazing what they can track and are tracking.....

@dioxide45 is thinking the same way as I was: if you're logged into google...even on the browser....google can track your typing and searching activity. This would make much more sense if you had a g-board google keyboard installed....

still...not normally text contents...

This happens to me all the time. I used two computers. On both I stay logged into Gmail. If I start then stop writing an Email on computer number one and then fire up computer number two, my message is there. Actually I like it...

Yeah, but private content (email, text etc..) shouldn't appear in non-private typing like google search etc....
common phrases, common place names etc... maybe, but not actual text messages intact.....
Drafts do save device-to-device on many websites...including TUG

I certainly would never log in to a personal email account on my work computer. In fact, certain companies have website poliest that block online email sites.

I don't use gmail even though I have an account. I use hotmail which I log into at work. Its in my personal office which none of the staff usually touch.

I'm aware of linking iPhones and iPads. I have some iPads specifically for work which are not linked with the messages and then I have iPad minis I use for myself at work and that one is linked. But its not the iPhone/iPad, but iPhone / PC desktop that is the issue.
