As you may or may not know, in July, 2017, Photobucket started charging $399 if you wanted to post your Photobucket pictures on websites. That meant that most of my photos and maps in the stickies were blocked. I noticed today that they are no longer blocking them - keep your fingers crossed!

I don't even use Photobucket anymore, since most bulletin systems allow you to upload photos directly from your device.

I don't use photobucket any more either, but before TUG switched over to their current system, TUG couldn't host pictures, so you had to use another site to host them. So for many years, all of my TUG pictures/maps were hosted on Photobucket, and then they got mercenary.

Good to know. I used Photobucket for years and also stopped because of the change in their terms. I started to use Flickr, but somehow can't figure out how to login now that they parted ways with AT&T and I setup a new username and PW with them.

I still use PBucket.

I was already a paid member, and just before my last cheap membership year expired the company was sold or management was changed to one with a lot more sense. I had already recaptured all the photos I had stored there in anticipation, but didn't need to do anything.

Membership is again reasonable (but not free), and posts are not blocked. Never did find an alternative service that I liked as much (Flickr was the closest), so have been sticking by Pbucket. I'll be up for renewal again in a few months, think it's about $40 for the year now.

ETA: still mad at another forum I regularly participate in that decided to block users from posting from PBucket in retaliation. So even though I have a paid membership I can no longer post photos on that forum.
