We received great tips from this thread, and I wanted to add the discount tickets that we ordered online through Costco, and printed at the resort lobby.
2 for 1 admission to Living Desert Zoo:

We went yesterday and highly recommend the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens.

I agree great place and tip. Also the Costco out there has gift cards to a few of the higher end restaurants. If I recall we have had gift cards to Flemings and Sullivans. But they are only available at the costcos out there.

Not quite true, as our Costco, here in St. Charles, IL carries Flemings and Sullivan gift cards (probably because they have locations in Chicago and some suburbs)

You can also likely buy some on line from Costco. Roy's was also a great deal, two $50 certs for $79. Had no problem using those at Roy's in Rancho Mirage on their prix fixe Monday night special.
