It's easy - just rap it on the side, and if it rings, it's a bell pepper.

Green peppers have a hole different distinct taste vs the red,yellow, and orange ones.

I consider the red , yellow, and orange peppers the "sweet" peppers.

I prefer the 4 sided end vs the 3 sided. They taste better.
