10 Trendy, Healthy New Groceries We Recently Spotted at Costco
By Heather McClees/ Shopping/ Kitchn/ thekitchn.com

"I love to scout my local Costco for new and healthy items. Trendy, new and healthy items, that is. And there’s always lots to be found. Because Costco has its proverbial finger on the pulse more than you might think.

During a recent trip to my local Costco warehouse, I spotted 10 shockingly cool, new finds that I found worthy of sharing. As a nutritionist, I’ve been seeing these sorts of products/ingredients get more and more popular. They’re trending among recommendations from health professionals, showing up on social media, getting featured in various health studies, and popping up in grocery stores. Even better than being popular? These things are, again, good for you and tasty, too.

Here are 10 new Costco finds you should check out......"

Funny thing, I was about to put the 5. On the list in my mouth, just as I scrolled to the number 5. Item on the browser page.

They are yummy snacks, try them.

I'm planning on getting #7, the vinegar, soon. I almost put it in my cart on my last trip ...

I tried the quinoa, brown rice stuff (4) at Costco yesterday. Didn't buy then. Might next time. I seldom buy the 'new, introductory' stuff because I keep thinking that if it isn't good, I'm stuck with it in the freezer (I know, I can take it back- if I remember) and if it is good, I'll look for it on a subsequent trip to Costco and they will have dropped it.

We love all the Seeds of Change products. On the shelf nearby you'll also find similarly packaged pouches by Tasty Bites. They include things like Indian Madras Lentils and Thai Ginger Curry which pair well with the rice packages. These have become my "I don't feel like cooking dinner tonight" standbys. Plus they all travel well, needing no refrigeration and just 90 seconds in the microwave to heat up, self contained in the pouch.

Thank you for posting. I am definitely going to look out for (1) White Cheddar Chickpea puffs and (6) Roasted Chestnuts.

Roasted chestnuts are only good when freshly roasted and hot. Once they get cold, they don't taste good, at least in my opinion.
