Thanks for your reply. My concern is the lack of any kind of refrigerator. Even Days Inns have mini fridges now (although I haven’t been in one in 30+ years) The kids might want to cool soda or champagne.
I'm a big fan of the Kauai Marriott. They have an odd way of listing the lock offs. If you book a Parlor it has a mini kitchen and a very comfortable fold out bed that comes off the wall and over the couch and a lanai. They call the bedroom portion a Studio. It's rare for the bedroom to have an actual lanai. I learned the hard way when I booked a Parlor for one night because my husband didn't want the mini kitchen. Also it's less points to book the Parlor and I feel you get so much more. We are also big fans of Captain Andy cruise. We went last year and had a great time. Congratulations !

I second the suggestion for Captain Andy's Sunset Dinner Cruise, tho the sails were only put up during dinner when you reached the Na Pali Coast area, and the engines were used getting to and from there.
I can't speak to the the Dinner Cruise specifically, but we've done Captain Andy's 'morning' Na Pali cruise 5 times now. We've had sails up going out, sails up coming back, and sails up for a short time 'for show'. I assume it depends on the winds.
