Does "Presidential" level mean a better Bonvoy metal?

We just finalized a deal for the 1500 more points we needed to get from Executive to Presidential level.

As of yesterday, when I log on to the MVC site I see "Presidential." Cool.

Does this level mean an automatic increase in my wife's Bonvoy level? Right now she's Platinum Elite. Will she somehow become Titanium Elite?

If here Bonvoy Account is connected to the timeshare yes. However, if you have separate Bonvoy accounts and say the timeshare is connected to your account, then no it won’t be Titanium for her. It will be Titanium for you and your account would go to the next level.

They seem to make the changes once a month. My change to Presidential happened a couple of days after closing, but the Bonvoy update to Titanium happened about a month later. It depends on when you close and if you meet that monthly deadline when they update the changes.

I also just got to Presidents Point level. I was Titanium last year. Does Presidents level earn Titanium every year?

I only need ten more nights, but automatic Titanium would be a very nice perk for being Presidents level.

President’s level does get you to Titanium level in the Bonvoy rewards program as long as you have the timeshare. However, you do not get the free nights that is earned when you get to Titanium by paying for the stays required to get to Titanium.
